An exceptional ski resort in the heart of the Alps
The "Paradiski" skiing area (Les Arcs, La Plagne, Peisey-Vallandry) is one of the most beautiful ones in the world. Its more than 450 km ski runs offer new slide installations (snowparks, boardercrosses, half-pipes…) and a sophisticated artificial snow system which guarantees skiable runs at the beginning of the winter season. Les Arcs are located at the edge of the Parc de la Vanoise which constitutes, along with the Parc du Grand Paradis, the largest protected natural area in Europe. The ski resort offers 5 exceptional sites located at different altitudes with a total reception capacity of 30,000 people. Film screenings at all altitudes The film screenings are scheduled in the 6 auditoriums of the resort located at Arc 1800, Arc 1600 and Bourg Saint Maurice. Arc 1950 Le Village The heart of the festival and the residence site of the festival guests (professionals, the jury, journalists, film crews). All the debates and conferences as well as the Arc 1950 Coproduction Village and the Village of Schools will be held there. The ski resort which is entirely pedestrian offers exceptional lodging conditions with its 4* residences built in a mountain chalet architectural style and many relaxing amenities (spa, swimming pool, fitness…). Arc 1800 The largest of Les Arcs villages. It will welcome the official screenings in the Bernard Taillefer auditorium and public screenings in the two film theatres. It also offers a wide range of different accommodation. Arc 1600 Its innovating architecture makes it the original site of the resort. It welcomes the public screenings of the festival. Arc 1600 is a pedestrian resort with 4,000 beds and 30 shops. _________________________________________________________________ Arc 2000 The highest site of Les Arcs located in the heart of the mountains (at the foot of the Aiguille Rouge (3226m) and facing the Mont Blanc). The "Cabriolet" (telecabin) is a quick ride to the resort. _________________________________________________________________ Bourg Saint Maurice The town of the valley with its local artisans, its pedestrian streets and Savoy gastronomic specialities. The film screenings dedicated to the school children of the region are scheduled there. >> En 7 minutes, le funiculaire « Arc-en-ciel » vous transporte à Arc 1600, au cœur du domaine skiable. >> Regular interresort shuttles allow all the festival guests to get around very easily. They can attend all the screenings, conferences, meetings and receptions. |
